Kevin was someone who had Winnipeg in his heart. After being away from Winnipeg for 13 years and returning three years ago, Kevin's name was spouted like a hero's. I had the privilege of getting to know him through the Nuit Blanche events at the WAG. I will always remember him for his ready smile, eagerness to make that event a success and positive attitude towards others. He will be missed. I am deeply saddened by the news of Kevin Walter's passing.. he was a terrific guy. When i moved to Toronto 20 years ago from Winnipeg he would always have time for a quick coffee during business meetings while visiting Toronto.. I want to send my deepest condolences to the family.
