Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY MOZDZEN (nee CAHA) Peacefully in her home, on Saturday, June 21, 2014, Dorothy passed away at the age of 91 with her family by her side. Born February 6, 1923 in Dezanovac, Yugoslavia, Dorothy immigrated to Canada at the age of five to the Riding Mountain area of Manitoba. She later moved to Stonewall with her husband Frank and seven children. Farming was mom's passion until her death. Her greatest love was her family, but most especially the great-grandchildren, and was always there to lend a helping hand when needed. Everyone loved Granny's chocolate chip cookies. Surviving are her children Roy, Ernie (Margaret), Margaret (Murray), Tom (Karen), Robert (Kim), Marie (Hugh) and Jean (Myles); 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. There are two remaining sisters, Margaret and Verna (Wally). To all our family and friends, thank you for your expressions of love and caring when she needed it most. You gave Dorothy happiness just by being there for her. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall, MB. Interment to follow in the Stonewall Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to the Dr. Evelyn Memorial Hospital, Stonewall or the charity of your choice.
