Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAYMOND WILLIAM GOODWIN September 20, 1928 - June 25, 2014 With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandpa and friend. He was born in High Wycombe, England, and as a young man travelled to Australia before settling in Canada in 1953. He met and married Rosemary Rea and shared 58 wonderful years together. They raised two daughters, Janice (Ian) and Allison (Trevor) and enjoyed his three grandchildren: Mitchell, Megan, and Robyn. He is also survived by two nieces and several cousins all residing in England and Scotland. Before his early retirement he was a successful business owner of an industrial commercial painting company. Upon his retirement, he had extra time to enjoy the cottage at Caddy Lake, gardening in the yard, and he loved to read. Throughout his married life a dog was always a part of the family. His "Abby" will miss him dearly. Ray was a quiet, gentle man who loved his family - and we will miss him with all our hearts. As per his request there will not be a funeral service. If you would like to honour his memory, donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation. I met the Felthams over 15 years ago, and have had the pleasure of attending many gatherings with the family. Raymond and Rosemary always made me feel welcome, and I will remember Raymond's genuine kindness and love for his children and grandchildren. - Posted by: Cindy Craig (Friend) on: Jun 29, 2014
