Dear Joan, family and friends. Thoughts and prayers are with you. I remember the fun camping trips with Uncle Gerry who always had a joke for us and a quick wit. We also had some good times fishing together, with Gord and Gerry trying to land the largest fish. Card/board games with Gerry were always lively with great stories for all. Gerry will be missed but lives on in our hearts. - Posted by: Sean, Alex, Kyle and Shirley Clancy (cousins) on: Jul 07, 2014

We always enjoyed Uncle Gerry's sense of humour coupled with his quick wit that brought smiles to many a face throughout his life. I always enjoyed discussions with Gerry about business matters and how honesty was always integral with one's efforts - Granddad Baker was so proud of my Uncle. With Joan, his best life selection, they brought my favorite cousins into the world. Their kindness, consideration and work ethic is a legacy to Gerry and Joan's guideance and family devotion. Thinking of you Gerry, Joan and the Buick Roadcruiser; Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences to all family, Diana & Brian Murphy - Posted by: Brian & Diana Murphy () on: Jul 04, 2014

We have known Gerry and Joan for about 7 years as good neighbors. Gerry and Josie had an inside joke - Josie lovingly called him "Curly" and in return Gerry always had a smile and "Smart" remark. Playing Crib and Cross Crib will not be the same. To Joan and Family Please accept our condolences, prayers and love. It has been a real struggle for Gerry, Joan and the family over the past few years. Joan you are one of the most faithful, loyal, and hard working ladies I know. The following days will be a challenge to you all. Please know we offer our help to assist in any way to ease your load. Now, Gerry, Rest In Peace - You will be missed. - Posted by: Leonard and Josie Lindley (neighbors) on: Jul 04, 2014
