RICHARD JOSEPH GERARD DEURBROUCK 1959 - 2014 Suddenly, following a brief illness, it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Deurbrouck with his family by his side on Monday, June 30, 2014 at the age of 54. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. #1 East at Navin Road. Interment will follow the service, and all those in attendance are welcome.   • To my best friend and big bother, I will miss very much. I remember the BBQs we had and the fun we had together. You were always there for me when ever I needed you. Sometimes we would talk for 20 mins on the phone. Sometimes it would be 2 hours. We could talk about anything, from politics to UFOs and the paranormal. We would talk about God. He was proud of his daughter Michelle. He raised her by himself. He did an awesome job. I am very proud of her, because she thinks of me as a mom. I was not good with my own kids. We do not come with a book to raise children and we make mistakes. We do not mean too and we do not tell each other we love each other enough. I want to thank you Michelle for asking me to write a eulogy. I was very honored. I am going to miss your dad, more than you will ever know. I loved him and he was my big brother. He was very proud of you, and she just married on the 31st of May. He had a dance with you on that day. I had to wait 30 years to get mine. If you ever need anything, call on us and we will be there. Forever in our hearts. Love his music, camping and fishing and the endless BBQs that took forever. LOL. I love you my daughter and Ryley.
