JEFFREY RAYMONT TOOMER December 25, 1981 - July 2, 2014 On Wednesday evening, at home, our beloved Jeff suddenly passed away. He is remembered by wife, Jamie McKay; parents, Greg and Cheryl; brother Ryan (Courtney); grandmother Barbara Martin; Uncle Jeff (Heather), Uncle Gary; mother-in-law Verna McKay; sisters and brothers-in-law, Heather, Seth, Pat, Emily (Scott), and Stanley (Dorothy); cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandmother Margret Toomer, grandfathers, David Martin and Frank Toomer; father-in-law Stanley McKay Sr.; brothers-in-law, Kevin and Kirk; sisters-in-law, Doreen and Ada. Jeff will be remembered as a giving, patient, and extremely caring person. He was a helpful son and brother and a generous friend. He was the youngest son of Cheryl and Greg and the younger brother of Ryan. He enjoyed watching movies, reading comics, going camping, and tinkering around in his shop. He liked to take things apart, put them back together, and liked to invent things out of spare parts. He was especially good at self teaching himself anything he needed to know and had several hobbies to keep him busy. Jeff had a quiet nature but came alive in the presence of his family, friends, and loving partner. A service to celebrate the life of Jeff will be held at Immanuel United Church, 755 Golspie Street on Thursday, July 10 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place and a family burial will take place at a later date. To commemorate his life, donations may be made to the Verna and Stanley McKay Sr. Educational Bursary for Aboriginal students at Red River College, C306-2055 Notre Dame Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3H 0J9. Jeff you will be missed. I remember working with you and teaching you lots at Walmart when I was there. It is sad you had to go so earily. Take care bro. RIP - Posted by: Ernest (Friend) on: Jul 05, 2014
