SELMA JADISCHKE After a lengthy illness, Selma Jadischke passed away at Concordia Hospital on June 27, 2014. Selma is survived by her son Ralph Jadischke, sisters Frieda Reichert (Leo) and Ursula Kuhr (Emil), along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and friends. Selma was predeceased by her husband Edmund in 1996. Selma was born in Poland in 1925, and came to Canada from Germany in 1951. Selma loved gardening and baking. She was always fussing over her plants, and spent countless hours making pizza, Lemon Pie and her famous Nut Roll. Many thanks go to the staff of Concordia Hospital for all their kindness and help they gave Selma. Funeral will be held on Monday, July 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue, (across from Brookside Cemetery) with Pastor Bjoern Meinhardt officiating.
