Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJILL ANNE NAZIMEK (HARGREAVES) February 24, 1965 - June 28, 2014 Peacefully, on June 28, 2014, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, our loving mother, sister, auntie, daughter, grandmother, and friend passed away at the Gimli Community Health Centre with her family by her side. Jill is survived by her children Derek (Kelsey), Dylan, and Alicia; her granddaughter Hayden and her best buds Ginger and Buddy. Also left to cherish her memory is her mother Lorraine; her siblings Brian (Barb), Bert, Fraser (Teena), Jay (David), and Melanie (Steve); her nieces and nephews Matthew (Jade), Ashley (Dexter), Sara (Gord), AJ, Nicholas, Sean, Terry, Thomas, Brittany, Stephanie, Amanda, Michael and great-nephews Clayton, Hunter, and Ty. Jill was predeceased by her father Albert Hargreaves. Jill worked at various jobs over the years, most recently at Gimli True Hardware where she met and made many lasting friendships. Her greatest accomplishments were her children. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, camping, fishing and beer 30's on Saturday afternoons. She will be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit, her big heart and her courage and compassion. Jill will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Thank you to all the nurses and staff who cared for Jill during her last few weeks. A special thank you to Dr. Gordon at CancerCare, Dr. R. Gera, Dr. S.V Patel, Dr. A.Zohrab-Beik, and Julie, Donna, and Tanis in the chemo room. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 9Z9. Dillon I'm so sorry to hear about you mom. I know how much you loved her. You stood by her through it all. I'm sure you know how proud she was of you. Your mom may be gone but the memories will last a life time. Your mom will never really be gone for when you need her. She will be there nudging you forward.
