RONALD GARY JONES July 11, 1933 - July 4, 2014 After a courageous battle with cancer we sadly announce the passing of Ronald Gary Jones on July 4, 2014 at St. Boniface Hospital. Left to cherish Ron's memories are his daughters Christine Lauze (Richard) and Dianna Pitman. Grandchildren Kindra and Brenden Lauze, brother William (Bill), sisters Doreen Turner, Irene Kennedy and Eileen Whitbred. Also left to mourn is his companion Barbara Craig as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Ron was predeceased by his beloved wife, Evelyn in 1998 and son Brent (2004). His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and was a fanatic about all sports. A memorial service will be held a Holy Trinity Anglican Church at the corner of Donald Street and Graham Avenue on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. with Father Henry Falconer officiating. The family would like to thank the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital and Dr. F. Sikora.   • Although sad to lose you Uncle Ron, you have been a joy to be around and I will always remember Dixie's squealing/whining the minute she saw you arriving and then fight you for your slippers.
