  • My deepest sympathy to Brad and the entire McKee family! Ethel was such a fantastic lady and everyone who knew her loved her. She has touched the hearts of many. She always had such fun, loving nature about her. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. I will always remember all of her wonderful meals and good times I had with her and the family in her home in St. James as well as her home in Arizona. Ethel you may have departed the physical world, but you will never be forgotten by all the so many people you touched! You will always be loved by your family and friends for ever. - Posted by: Robert Lobson (Friend of Brad's) on: Jul 12, 2014

  • Dear Ethel, You were my neighbour of 27 years and second mother when mine was away. I appreciate all the wonderful times we shared and the memories we created. You were always there when I needed you. Thank you for everything you did for me and my family. I am going to miss your update letters, especially around Christmas. We're all going to miss your wonderful sweet treats and comforting visits, most recently our visit in December, 2013. But most of we're just really going to miss you. We hope you will enjoy the peace you have found. You will remain in our hearts forever. Our deepest condolences to the whole family. We are thinking of you too and hope to see you again soon. - Posted by: Julie, Nicolas, and Cécilia Ravy (Hall) (Switzerland friends) on: Jul 12, 2014

  • Ethel and Barry lived next door to us on Ridley Place for over 40 years. They became our dear friends, and we are blessed to have so many rich memories of Ethel's generosity, kindness, and patience as we both raised our families. Some of our best times were spent with Ethel and Barry at Christmas get togethers, or sharing summertime drinks and laughs on their deck. Ethel was the ultimate "Lady", always prettily "turned out", and the epitome of hospitality. She was renowned for her delicious dainties which she generously shared with all who came to visit. We will miss her sweet smile and fun visits. Ethel will live forever in our hearts. Please know that our sympathies and prayers go out to you Barry, and the whole family. - Posted by: John and Elaine Hall () on: Jul 12, 2014

  • We will always remember Ethel's smile and positive attitude. No matter how she was feeling she would always ask about our day. We have find memories of Ethel sitting out on her balcony among her flowers offering a smile and a wave while we were outside working. We will also remember many St. Patrick's Day coffee days with the wearing the the green and her little hallway leprechaun. We will miss her but I do know she will be watching her family from above smiling at everyone. Our condolences to Barry and the whole family. It was our pleasure to get to know all of you. A truly great lady! - Posted by: Linda and Ralph Dube (Friends) on: Jul 12, 2014
