Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • It is with sadness that I learn of Bill's passing. I knew Bill (and his family) when they lived in England many years ago. I renewed the friendship in the 1970's when my family and I visited Winnipeg to say with the family. Bill was great fun and took me to my first (and last) drive-in movie. Happy memories - Posted by: Tina Dovey (Long ago friend) on: Apr 09, 2019

  • I heard of Bill's passing just today. Bill was a special guy with a great sense of humour and deep love for his family. I met Bill many years ago through my husband, Hans, who has also passed away five years ago. We had many great experiences sailing, being at the lake, and playing cards. Later Bill met Elaine, his beloved wife, and we shared our long cards games with her also. Bill was always a good friend and someone you could count on. Elaine I offer my most sincere condolences and prayers. - Posted by: Karen Ellis (Friend ) on: Oct 03, 2016

  • We were sorry to hear of Bill's passing. It was always a pleasant talk with Bill and although it's been a few years. I'll remember him for what I think we had in common - lodge brothers, love of the bagpipes (he is a past associate member of our Khartum Shrine Pipe Band), and a desire to make the wife happy! Our condolences. Troy & Shelley Blair - Posted by: Troy Blair (Friend and lodge brother) on: Jul 15, 2014

  • Bill's character has always been with me over the years. Way back in our past lives in trucking. My driving life, was a better experience, thanks to Bill Caulfield. Well educated, (and not a half bad driver) Bill was a pleasure to drive with, and always made long runs seem short with lively & educating discussions. My thoughts are with the family. - Posted by: Rick McGee (Long Ago Co-Worker & friend) on: Jul 14, 2014
