Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Gladys always had a smile for you and I knew her all my life. As a boy I loved finishing my little paper route at the Wilson home. Gladys and her whole family would take the time to talk to you and probably tease you just a little bit. Gladys was a lot of fun and always kind. • Gladys was the happiest person you could hope to meet and always liked to joke when she saw you. She always reminded me that she had been baby-sitter of mine; what a treat to have known her. The Wilson's were always a fun place to end my paper route as a boy and Gladys, Val and their parents were most kind. - Posted by: David Morrison (Neighbour and friend) on: Jul 21, 2014

  • I have known Gladie my whole life and lived down the street from her in Old Kildonan for many years. Her knitting skills are displayed on our chesterfield each day and cherished greatly! Our family is very saddened to hear of her passing. Love & hugs to Val. - Posted by: Gwyn & Syd Perkins (Edwards) (Family friend) on: Jul 19, 2014
