RICHARD CAYER Richard Cayer, aged 87 years, of Vassar, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Bethesda Hospital, Steinbach, MB. Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, one daughter-in-law and their families. Richard was predeceased by his wife Florence in 2005, two sons and one son-in-law. Prayers will be said Friday, July 25, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach, MB. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Vassar, MB with burial to follow at the parish cemetery. There will be a time of viewing at the church prior to the service. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Richard may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or Canadian Paraplegic Association (Manitoba) Inc.
