Carrie, my dearest friend. I am lost for words my friend. We grew up together since grade 1. We spent summer months at Falcon Lake and shopping trips to the states. You were too strong, we shared so much together, yet you did not share your illness. I will never be the same without you. We spent many hours on the phone chatting about anything and everything. Maybe I talked too much and didn't hear your pain. I have loved you my whole life, and I will never stop. I bought an angel today, in your honour. It will sit among my flowers outside. You truly were an inspiration to anyone you ever met. Sleep well my friend. Till we meet again Carrie. Love you, Debbie Chalus - Posted by: Debbie Chalus (Friend) on: Jul 28, 2014

I grew up with Carrie and we were very good friends from the time I was around 8 years old. My family moved and we lost touch for about 10 years and then reconnected. Once again we lost touch and finally reconnected around 4 years ago. She never changed. She was a very kind, caring person. I'll never forget her laugh and her smile. Her laugh was contagious and she had a smile you could never forget. No matter what she was going through she always had a positive attitude and kept her spirits up. She was a big part of my life and a great friend growing up and i'm so happy we were able to reconnect, if only for a short time. R.I.P Carrie, you will be missed. - Posted by: Kim Surrette (Friend) on: Jul 26, 2014
