TEENIE STIEBEN (nee EDINGER) July 30 1923 - July 20 2014 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Teenie Stieben. Mom passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Victoria General Hospital at the age of 90 years. Teenie was predeceased by her husband Fred Stieben in 1992 and William Bigalky in 2007. Remaining to cherish her memory are daughters Loraine Krastel (Craig), Peggy Albrecht (Dale), sons Ken Stieben (Rose), Mel Stieben (Denise), Christine St.Hilaire (Michel), 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mom did numerous hours of volunteering wherever she could. Gardening, sewing, knitting, crocheting, playing cards, bingo and bowling were some of her favorite pastimes. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday, July 27 between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 28, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Beth Rutherford officiating. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens with reception at Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Teenie's memory to a charity of choice. Mom will be missed but never forgotten www.chapellawn.ca 885-9715
