  • My condolences go out to you Ron..how lucky you were, to have married her, and be together for a while. Louise had a magnetic draw to her, so when any-one met her, you would feel a friendship that would last forever .. she was truly " one of a kind " .. we will all miss her. - Posted by: Ted Bohncke ( ..Friend) on: Jul 29, 2014

  • Louise may be gone but she will be remembered by me forever. The last time I talked to her was on my birthday. She had given me some good advice and I took it. Thanks Louise. See you on the other side. Your friend, Bruce and Spike. - Posted by: Bruce Yeadon (Former sister -in-law) on: Jul 28, 2014

  • Hi Ron and family: I have known Louise since Grade 4 when we moved to 1075 Alfred Avenue. Louise's parents owned the grocery store across from our school and I spent a lot of pennies there on candy. You can imagine my surprise when I went to a West Kildonan Collegiate reunion and discovered the Louise and Ron were married. Ron and his sister Karen and I were all living in Garden City and met in high school. We did not keep in touch too closely but we did connect, thanks to Karen,on Vancouver Island where the 3 of us spent a lovely Saturday. I was very surprised at Louise's unexpected passing. She was a lovely person and I know that you made her very happy Ron. See you on Tuesday. Brigitte DeLeeuw - Posted by: Brigitte DeLeeuw (Friend) on: Jul 27, 2014

  • My deepest sympathy to Louise's family. In spite of the end of her marriage to my brother, Louise always kept in touch with my mother and often stopped in for a visit with her when Louise was in town. Thesei visits meant a lot to my Mum and to the rest of our family too. Her thoughtfulness will be remembered. - Posted by: Heather Patterson née Brown (Former sister-in-law) on: Jul 26, 2014
