Sandy and I met in Ingelheim, Germany in September 1967. We became the best of friends and continued our friendship for over 40 years. Sandy stayed with me in Manchester, UK during my pregnancy in 1969 and the one thing that I regret is that although we continued our friendship over the years that we never again got to see each other. I moved to the US in 1969 and settled in the Los Angeles area with my husband and Sandy and I would write to each other and talk about the day that we might get together again. My most recent communication with Sandy was regarding her cancer and the treatment she was receiving. I was working in the department of OB/GYN at UCLA and wanted her to come to LA to see a colleague of mine for treatment. Unfortunately that was not to be. Sandy left this world far too soon and I will forever regret not being with her in person and being able to share her journey. Sandy, I will never forget you and you will always have a place in my heart. - Posted by: Janis Cuevas (Friend) on: Dec 16, 2014

I had a very happy life with Sandra. She was always there for me. We had many things planned for our future but it was not to be. When my spirits were down she lifted me up and when I was happy she smiled. The greatest Wife a Husband could wish for. My memory is full of Joy. Too bad you had to go so soon. Always Love You.
