WHEN I WAS GROWING UP UNCLE LAWRENCE WOULD OFTEN COME OVER. EVERY SECOND SUNDAY HE WOULD COME OVER TO VISIT. HE TOLD STORIES THAT I FOUND VERY EXCITING AND ALWAYS HAD A LOT OF INFORMATION THAT WAS SO ENTERTAINING TO YOUNG EARS. HE WAS MY DADS BROTHER AND ALWAYS LOOKED FORWARD TO HIS VISITS. DEAR UNCLE LAWRENCE I'LL MISS YOU. LOVE CATHY SCHAEF - Posted by: CATHY SCHAEF (NEICE) on: Jul 30, 2014

My deepest sympathies to the family. Larry was my neighbour on Lipton Street when he lived in the home of Mrs. Lloyd. He was always most pleasant to be with and his smile was most endearing and his sense of humour made you laugh. In later years, our paths would sometimes cross, he never changed. So sad. - Posted by: Hanna Lailey (neighbour) on: Jul 29, 2014

Sorry to learn of Larry's passing. We both worked in the Prairie Region VP's office at CPR Winnipeg and occasionally golfed and later consumed a few post-golf beverages together. Larry was a fun guy to work with. Condolences to his family. - Posted by: Jae Eadie (former colleague at CPR) on: Jul 29, 2014
