Dear Tilly, Marion and Franca, I am thinking of you all this week. I am also thinking of Isaak, his calmness and his quiet sense of humour. He lived a happy life, thanks to you three. You were in his heart. - Posted by: Kathryn Bagg (friend) on: Aug 05, 2014

At the time I was growing up, the custom in my parents social circle was to take the young kids with them when visiting friends. As such I spent many hours at the Stolk home. I have fond memories of that time and remember Izaak as a quiet man that observed the bedlam of the Dutch parties with humour. He will be sadly missed. Please accept our condolences - Posted by: Mike & Margaret du Croix (Family friends) on: Aug 03, 2014

I will always remember Oom Izaak as a happy go lucky guy. He was always smiling and joking and telling stories. I remember visiting out at their cottage and he was out riding his bike and collecting bottles from the roadside ditches. I am also forever grateful that he gave the toast to the bride at my wedding. I will always remember and miss you Oom Izaak. - Posted by: Wilma Arsenault (Niece) on: Aug 02, 2014
