JOHN ISAAC REMPEL We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of John on July 30, 2014. John was born in Saskatchewan and raised in Kenora, Ontario where he met and married Dee Hartley. • Uncle John will always hold a special place in my heart. My Mom's favorite brother....he graciously walked me down the aisle. His dry sense of humour, you had to catch the twinkle in his eyes to know if he was serious or teasing, usually the latter. I will miss you. - Posted by: Cindy (Gleason) Risi (Niece) on: Aug 04, 2014

  • Fondly remembered and admired in Kenora, Winnipeg and Snow Lake...our condolences to Dee (Dorothy) and John's family. - Posted by: Charles & Edith Primmer (same hometown) on: Aug 03, 2014

  • Hi John...Our happy times in Kenora and at Rabbit Lake & at Edgewater Beach cottages will always come to my mind and the many laughs and Kenora street tours we made in the evenings, the boat trips on Lake of the Woods...fishing, swimming and the mid nite dips ...we had one terrific time. Shall miss you my friend. Have a beautiful celestial journey buddy! Deeply sorry about your loss Dee, Scott, Kurt, AND Jodi. Love Ray, Alice, Stephen Billy in Kelowna. - Posted by: Ray Billy (Friend ) on: Aug 02, 2014
