He will be forever remembered by his wife of 61 years Lorraine (nee Mah), his children Donna (Siggi), Debbie (Alan), Carol (Stan), eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, He is also survived by his sister Mary Bodner, special nieces Jane and Gordon Watters of Winnipeg and Marsha and Brad Hall of Edmonton. Stan was born on November 11, 1924 where he grew up on a farm in Melrose, Manitoba. He then began his career working for different companies as a pipefitter/plumber, ending his career with CNR in 1982. Stan enjoyed sports, either listening to the radio or watching on TV. He enjoyed family dinners and always loved having the grandchildren come to visit. He always helped his children when they called upon him, no matter how big the task or small. Dad was there for us. Carol and family so sorry to hear about your loss, losing a dad is a very hard trial to go thru, remembering all the good times and talking about them is the best medicine.
