MARGARET SURCH (nee SMALL) September 4, 1920 August 6, 2014 Passed away peacefully at Kildonan Personal Care Centre with family by her side. Margaret was predeceased by her husband William, her parents James and Kate Small, her brother David Small and her sisters May Topping and Jean Campbell. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Brenda. Margaret will also be missed by her nieces, nephews and her many friends. She was an active member of the Louise Rebekah Lodge #14. Margaret loved life and made friends wherever she went. She enjoyed summers camping and in later years, spending time at the trailer. She had a green thumb, and together with her husband, grew the largest tomatoes and had the most beautiful flower gardens. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel United Church, 755 Golspie Street, Winnipeg. Interment to follow at Sunnyside Cemetery. Sincere thanks to the ladies of Immanuel United Church. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations may be made to The Arthritis Society or the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
