  • Charles I just found out today of your passing and am in absolute shock. You were one of the most sweetest, genuine, and caring men I have ever had a chance to meet. The way you treated the residents at MYC was so respectful and everyone respected you for that. You were always quick to help residents or co-workers in any way that you could with that beautiful smile on your face. You will be missed by everyone who has ever had the pleasure of meeting you. I am so so saddened. Rest in paradise my friend. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family who can only be heartbroken at this time. xoxo - Posted by: Jen (previous co-worker ) on: Aug 21, 2014

  • Charles, as I knew him, was a great person. He was funny and would always make me laugh. He was one of those people who actually made my time seem a little less bleak. I remember one time we had a conversation about cars and I ended up telling him about my life before things went the wrong way. I told him about my hobby of automotive photography and videography and how I had my photos and videos on Flickr and youtube. He checked them out at home and told me how talented I was at using a camera and editing. He told me I should continue and possibly pursue a career in photography. Yes, Charles was a great guy and I will always remember him. Rest in peace Charles. - Posted by: Jordan H. ((youth he worked with)) on: Aug 14, 2014

  • What a special guy...you were highly respected by your work family and made a huge impact on the Youth we work with. Anytime your name was mentioned in NTG or anywhere else for that matter what always followed your name was consistent-you were loved and appreciated more than you'll ever know. You put smiles on faces and laughter into rooms wherever you went. You touched so many lives just at work I can't imagine how long the list goes outside of MYC...I, Mr Bella can definately say I was priveleged to have known you. You were one of a kind, one of the really good ones. Rest Peacefully Friend. - Posted by: Robyn S (MYC Family member) on: Aug 12, 2014

  • I'm so sorry for your loss. Charles was such an empathic and sensitive soul. He was a great listener to the youth that we work with. We spoke now and again about shared experiences at work, and I found him to have such a compelling outlook. He died way too young, and had so much more to offer. He will live on in the hearts and minds those that he has had a positive effect on. He will be remembered. - Posted by: Shannon (co worker) on: Aug 12, 2014
