I will try not to cry because you are gone, rather smile because you were there. Thank you for your friendship. Somehow I know we'll meet again. Not sure quite where and I don't know just when. You are in my heart until then. May you find peace now my friend as you join your loved ones. - Posted by: Sheila (Cox) Marchyshyn (Friend) on: Aug 28, 2014

I met Lisa last year in the neighborhood while walking my three dogs and she walking alongside her bicycle. It was always in the early morning. At first we would exchange a friendly smile and then carry on. After a few times of passing each other she came over and we introduced ourselves. I have two German Shepherds who are younger and usually quite hyper but when they met her never jumped up. She had a very calming way about her. Lisa was always pleasant and I will miss seeing her on my walks. - Posted by: Shelley Hansen (neighbor) on: Aug 25, 2014

We have been so sad to learn that Lisa had been ill and has passed away. We rarely saw her ...we named her the hippie chick we meant this in a nice way... She always wore funky clothes and had a smile when she greeted us. Sadly we did not know of her struggles...had we known we certainly would have reached out to help her...life in suburbia we all lead private lives however makes you stop and think more that we need connect more with those around us. Our sincere sympathy and hope she is in a better place. - Posted by: Barb & Ken shearer (Neighbours) on: Aug 23, 2014
