WILLIAM JAMES MAHOOD SR. Suddenly, at the age of 79, William passed away on Wednesday, August 20th, 2014 at the Concordia Hospital. Those who are left to cherish his memory is his wife, Claire, of 44 years; his daughter Rhonda (Shawn) and son Billy (Erica); grandchildren Tyler, Justin, Paige and Brady; sisters Wilma Mahood, Alma (Bud) Alexander; many in-laws as well as numerous nieces and nephews. William was predeceased by his sister Belma Seip. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Concordia Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 200-310 Broadway Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 0S6. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26th, 2014 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Winnipeg, MB.   • Our fond memories of Bill was his laughter he would laugh so hard he would cry. We had good times golfing in Ashern and the time we teamed up for best ball at the old Farts Tournament we thought we had such a good score (we came in last)!!! The next day the guys were going golfing we looked out the window there was Bill standing with his clubs in the parking lot at The Patch (they left him behind) accidentally.
