Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLOREEN PEARL (KROEKER) REDEKOP Loreen Redekop was born on August 5, 1927 to Abram and Elizabeth Kroeker in Winkler, Manitoba and married Bill Redekop of Herbert, Saskatchewan on June 18, 1947. She died peacefully on Monday, August 25, 2014 at Bethesda Regional Health Centre in Steinbach, Manitoba. Besides her loving husband, Bill, she will be deeply missed by her children: Vern (Gloria) Neufeld Redekop and Jennie (Wes) Kehler; her grandchildren Quinn (Sue) Redekop, Michelle Kehler, Natasha Redekop (Brent Casey), Darcy Kehler, Lisa (Redekop) (Jon) Hayden, and Shaun (Sonia) Kehler; along with 11 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her brothers Alfred (Margaret) and Donald (Eileen) Kroeker, her sisters Mary Kroeger and Betty (Willard) Thiessen, brother-in-law Bill Bock and her husband's siblings: Ruth Sapinsky, Lois (John) Dyck, Helen Dueck, and Wally (Chris) Redekop. She was predeceased by brothers: Walter (Madeleine) Kroeker, Edwin (Emily) Kroeker, Peter (Ruth and Alvina) Kroeker, her sister Viola (Kroeker) Bock and her brothers-in-law: Ernie Kroeger, Hans Sapinsky, and Henry Dueck. There will be an evening of reminiscing about Loreen on Friday, September 26 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Hwy. 52 W., Steinbach, MB. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, with a light lunch to follow. Everyone is invited. I remember a very classy lady who was confined to a wheel chair for many years. I remember Loreen for all the wonderful knitting she did while I was just learning.
