CAROL LOUISE WARREN (nee HALL) On August 25, 2014, Carol Louise Warren (nee Hall) aged 68 years of Winnipeg, MB passed away peacefully at home. Carol is predeceased by her husband Gerald, her daughters Karen and Holly, her parents John and Mary Hall and her brother John. Carol is survived by her children Edward (Cindy) Thomas of Edmonton, Richard (Jody) Thomas of Edmonton and Caroline (Sid) Avis of Winnipeg, her grandchildren Aspen (Rob) Harpen, Devon and Rhiannon Thomas of Edmonton, brother Wayne (Kim) Hall of Winnipeg, nephews, Kelly (Shawne) McNeill, Ian Hall, Dean Hall and niece Lisa Hall, all of Winnipeg, and her faithful and loyal friend by her side, Travis. Carol was born October 8, 1945 in Hagersville, ON. In the late 1950s the family moved to Alida, SK and in 1960, Carol married George Thomas of Redvers, SK. They had three children. In 1969, they moved to Winnipeg and shortly after, divorced. In 1971 Carol married Gerald Warren and she and her three children moved into the home Carol lived in for the rest of her life. Carol and Gerald had two children together. After the loss of their two girls, Carol returned to high school to achieve her diploma. Over the years Carol worked as the secretary/assistant for Gerald's business, yard helper for the Warren family business and in retail. Carol loved to bowl, play cards, go fishing and work in her garden until rheumatoid arthritis starting taking its toll on her. After Gerald's passing, Carol enjoyed travelling with her friends and get-togethers with neighbours, friends and family. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, with interment and reception to follow.
