He was born March 21, 1931 in Zagreb, Croatia before coming to Canada in his early 20s to start a new life. He worked at various jobs, but it was at the Okum Inn where he met Doris, who would become his partner and wife. Anthony was predeceased by his lovely Doris in 2001. He is survived by their five children, Andy, Chris, Ben, Barb and Tony. The family would like to thank the staff at Holy Family A3 for their kindness, compassion and care of our father for the past two years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Foundation of Winnipeg. In your tears of Joy Your sweet smile Is like sunshine And I am rainbow Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB.
