Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLORRAINE MARGARET BOUBARD Lorraine Margaret Boubard walked into the loving arms of her Saviour Jesus Christ on Friday, August 29, 2014. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her son Art (Jen), daughters Wahbigon and Mia; Her adopted three sons Brendon, Tobi and Trevor; Grandchildren Deon, Tasha and Marshall, Great Grandchildren Gabe, Angie, Jacob, Nathan, Kaleb and Little Deon; Brothers, Dave (Orianna), Gerald (Eva), Bryan (Susie), Brad, Sisters, Shirley (Art) and Darlene, Brother-in-law Henry (Cecile), Uncles, Howard (Aline) Elmer (Jean); Best Friends Special K, Merle and Ronnie. Lorraine was predeceased by her loving husband Art Sr., parents, Dave Sr. and Margaret Courchene, grandparents George and Josephine Fontaine, Paul and Sarah Jane Courchene, uncles Norbert, Eddy, Wilfred, Art, Felix, Stan, Walter, Bert, Auntie Dorothy, Niece Mandy, Grandson Brent, brother-in-law Felix, sister-in-law Linda and her special friend Larry. Mom had a great love for her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and looked forward to the day that she would come face to face with Jesus and walk hand in hand on streets of gold and sit by the River of Life. She was always willing to share her faith in Christ and loved to sing praises. Her warm, loving and caring heart touched the hearts of all who knew her. Her love for her Lord, family, friends and her pets will allow her legacy to live on in others forever. Wake services will be held at Lorraine's residence, North Shore Road, Sagkeeng First Nation starting Sunday, August 31, 2014, with funeral service, Wednesday, September 2, 2014, at 1:00 pm at Christ Church Anglican, Sagkeeng First Nation. Interment will follow at the Sacred Turtle Lodge in Sagkeeng. Pallbearers Mike Rundle, Herman Hope, Brett Cook, Eric Courchene, Lawrence Malo-Boubard and Brendon Stevenson, honorary Pallbearers, Trevor, Tobi, Lindsay, Brandi, Deon, Marshall, Tasha, Ryder and Erin Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths Proverbs 3:5-6 Funeral arrangements entrusted to Rock Fontaine.

I am honored to have known such a sweet, loving, kind and beautiful lady like Lorraine. You are all in my thoughts and prayers today as you prepare to lay your mother to rest today Wahb and Art. Your mother will continue to shine through both of you as she taught you the most important thing in her life, which was following Jesus and to always keep the Faith no matter what life throws in your path.
