Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLOUIS MANAIGRE On Sunday, August 31, 2014, Louis Manaigre passed away peacefully at the age of 77. He will be deeply missed by his wife Rita (née Touzin), his son Michel (Kathy Chartrand), daughter Carole (Jeff Derksen), and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Monica, Michel, Paul, and Olivia, Noah, Lucas and Alexis. Born in Saint Boniface on March 7, 1937, he was predeceased by his father Joseph, his mother Geralda (née Champagne) and younger brother Roger, brothers-in-law Roger Touzin, Marcel Touzin and Lucien Mireault. He is survived by his sisters Denise Mireault, Celine (John Shultz), Rolande (Gerard Bohemier), Pauline (Donat Labossiere), and his brothers Emile and Francois Manaigre. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Aurèle (Diane Lemoine), sisters-in-law Jeannine Touzin (née Massinon), Dorothee Touzin (née Savard), as well by many nieces and nephews saddened by his passing. Louis will be remembered for his compassion for the sick and elderly, and his love of history and nature. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 5, 2014 at the Roman Catholic Church in Lorette. The Eulogy will begin at 10:45 a.m., followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. The family would like to thank the staff at Action Marguerite for their care and support during this difficult time. My deepest sympathy Rita and to your family. We're saddened to hear of your loss. I will always remember Louis as a very kind and wonderful person. He was a great example.
