I just now learned of Marie's passing, I have very fond memories of her sweet gentle nature. We met in high school and became close friends. Even after I left Winnipeg to join the navy we kept in touch almost daily by mail, and saw each other a few times. Through all of these years she has remained one of my sweetest memories, the world is a sadder place without her. My condolences go out to her family. - Posted by: David (Ken) Chalmers (Old friend) on: Aug 15, 2017

Marie was one of my best friends. She was not only a good friend but also like a sister. When I first met Marie it was instant friendship. We shared a lot of good times and sad times. Marie was one person I could phone and we could talk for hours. Her face always lit up when she talked about her children and grandchildren, they meant everything to her..My condolences to the family...May you now find peace and comfort in a place that surrounds you with angels! Love you and will miss you dearly - Posted by: Sheila Bedder (Friend) on: Sep 10, 2014

We came to know Marie and her family through her sister Dorothy and Brother-in-law Bharat. Marie was a lovely. She was never too busy to stop and talk. We met her frequently at Sears and would stop to talk. She would talk so lovingly of her family especially her grandchildren. We would to extend our condolences to the whole family. Dorothy and Bharat we know you are struggling with this. Will pray for you and the whole family at this very difficult time n your lives. I was blessed to know a dear girlfriend, as we shared many times of sadness and happiness. Marie shared her children with me and that I am grateful for. Military life has separated where we live but has never taken apart of love in our hearts for one another. "I got you Babe" I will see you in heaven. I love you. - Posted by: Colleen Guntner (childhood girlfriends) on: Sep 09, 2014

We have lost an angel. Marie had the most beautiful & loving personality. She was so sweet, whenever we met her at Walmart or Sears she was so happy to see us and bring us up to date on the family. She adored her grandchildren, what a loss for them. Our prayers go out to all the Eldridge family and to Don Tara, Jenny & Meaghan & families. - Posted by: Shannon & Paige Phillips (Friends) on: Sep 09, 2014
