On my first day at Lord Kitchener Junior High School, I was nervous, wondering if I'd fit in or make friends. Wain welcomed me, was friendly and outgoing. I felt better just knowing he was around. Wain was a good friend and even though I haven't been in contact with him in many years, I'm sorry he's gone. - Posted by: Dianne Dawe (Friend from school) on: Sep 15, 2014

Deepest condolences to you, Lynne, and your family. We will miss seeing Wain out and about in the neighbourhood. He always gave a friendly wave and a hearty hello when ever he saw us. Alannah sends her condolences and deepest sympathy, as well. Heather Meginbir and Ed Greene - Posted by: Heather Meginbir (neighbour) on: Sep 13, 2014

I've known Wain quite a few years. We've had a few beers together, worked together, and, generally enjoyed one another's company. We always joked about how his wife should raise his daily allowance so he could buy a round for the boys. I'll miss not seeing him or listening to his many stories. Rest in peace. - Posted by: Murray Ronald (Friend) on: Sep 09, 2014
