OSCAR DZENDZARA It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Oscar, on September 6, 2014. Oscar was a quiet, kind, generous, and humble man that lived to provide for the people in his life. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Marion (Denhard), sons Kevin (Charleen), and Blaine (Kelly), grandchildren Ella, Zachary, and Matea, and two sisters Nat and Dianne. Oscar is predeceased by his sister Anne. Oscar was born and raised in the Winnipeg area formally known as Brooklands, Manitoba. He was forced early in life to be a provider after the passing of his father when he was only seven years of age. In his teen years, Oscar quit school to help support his mother and younger sisters. He worked very hard over the next forty-nine years, mostly as a Dye Maker in the packaging industry at Continental Can. In 1963, Oscar was fortunate to meet the love of his life Marion and they were married three years later. Over the next 48 years of marriage, Oscar and Marion raised their two boys in the North Kildonan area of Winnipeg. The final years of his life were still spent taking care of the people around him, but most important to him was his time spent trying and succeeding at making his three grandchildren smile. As long as they were happy, he was as well. He would brighten up when they were around him. It is most sad to see his time with them come to end. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 12 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 204-338-7111
