NOEL HOGUE Peacefully, at the age of 85, Noel Hogue passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Villa Youville in Ste. Anne, Manitoba. He is survived by: his wife of 55 years, Doris (nee Mondor); and their children: Mona (Chris Hardie), Patrice (Laura), Giles, Bernadette (Henry Burzynski) and Sylvio (Juliana); 14 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, sisters: Fernande Lacroix, Marianne Desorcy, Clare Berard, Edmee Tilroe, and Hugette Shirley; and brother Alain Hogue. Noel was predeceased by his son Vincent, parents Antoni and Yovonne, and siblings: Roland, Aline and Guy. Noel was a farmer and a carpenter, but most of all he was a family man. His grandchildren considered him as a hero. He was a caring, loving mentor to those around him. He was firstly a husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. Prayers will be held on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 10:00 a.m., followed by funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. at Paroisse Notre Dame de la Misericorde Ile Des Chenes. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Noel may be made to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
