JEAN HONDZ It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Jean Hondz on September 9, 2014, aged 81 years, at Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg surrounded by family. I am so sorry to just read of Jean's passing. My brothers and sister and I have fond memories of Jean, Victor and the family. Childhood country living and socializing at its best. She was a lovely person. Very generous and always happy. Our sincere condolences to the family. Pearl & Morry Gill - Posted by: Pearl Gill (Fedorchuk) (Old friend and neighbour) on: Sep 15, 2014

I remember Mrs Hondz standing at the stove cooking for all the kids and whoever else happened to be at their home. Always smiling while she was doing it too. She always welcomed all the kids around into her home. Going to the farm in Arnes with Jean and the family was a highlight of my childhood as well. So many good memories. May she rest in peace and Big hugs to all the family at this time... Terri McDonald. - Posted by: Terri McDonald (family friend) on: Sep 15, 2014
