Condolences & Memories (10 entries)

  • Larry & Anton, my heartfelt condolences to you and her immediate family and cherished friends. Donna was a very special lady to me back in our high school years, they were the greatest, the sock hops, the teen dances at the Matlock Community Hall in the summer were very special. Donna was a great dancer and always encouraged all of us to rock & roll the evenings away. Donna was a fun loving generous person who made friends easily with her wonderful personality. Though we've not been in touch for years I do feel the loss of a very beautiful person. - Posted by: Laurie Russin (Old friend & teen dance partner, Laurie) on: Sep 19, 2014

  • My Condolences to Donna's husband Larry and Anton. I worked in the same division as Donna when I started @ Palliser and went to school with Anton. I heard today of Donna's passing and it broke my heart. I remember her voice and her laugh and her eyes that always sparkled she was always so happy and always spoke about her sweet son. Hugs go out to the family at this difficult time. - Posted by: Karina Baeza Puelles ((Co-Worker @ Palliser Chair Division)) on: Sep 17, 2014

  • Dear Larry, Anton and family, I am thinking of you all during this difficult time. I met Donna at Palliser Furniture/Comfort Division. Donna took care of all of us at the office. I called her my personal "Financial Advisor". During month end and tight deadlines, she would get us laughing and belt out a Dolly Parton song. I would try to sing along and was overtaken by her strong and beautiful voice. Her house was open for everyone including Anton's friends who called her Mrs P. She loved it. She was a special lady. She will live on in our memories forever. So long Donna. Thank you for being you. My heartfelt condolences to the family. • So sad to hear. Donna was my very first boss at Palliser. She had a great sense of humor and was a great listener. She loved life and her family. She will be missed. - Posted by: Penny King (former co-worker and friend) on: Sep 16, 2014

  • I am truly saddened by this news. Donna was a wonderful person. I am truly sorry for the family and you have my deepest condolences. I remember fondly my first days working at Palliser in 1993 when her and Lynda Barabash welcomed me to the Palliser "family". We had many adventures together but through good and bad Donna always had a smile and her "classic" laugh. I can still hear it today. God must've been missing an angel that he called Donna so early. - Posted by: Darren Stevenson (Former co-worker and friend) on: Sep 16, 2014

  • Larry - cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am for your loss! - Posted by: Lynda Barabash (Friend) on: Sep 16, 2014
