HENLI (PINEAPPLE) JAMESON
Date of Passing: Sep 13, 2014
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHENLI (PINEAPPLE) JAMESON It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Henli (Pineapple) at the age of 65. He leaves behind to mourn his wife June, daughter Tiffany, son Jeffrey and grandson Ryder, nephew and niece, Kristopher and Shantel, brothers: Viliami Talitaufa Helu, Sione Sinikiholo Helu, Tevita Solopani Helu, and sisters: Iunisi Fiefia, Ana Fangapulogu, IIisapesi Hoogenhout, Isapela Tonga, Evesi Vao, Nanisi Laufala Mabb, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Henli was a member of the Local 254 Pipefitters for over 30 years working as a pipefitter/welder. He enjoyed golfing, travelling, attending and watching the Blue Bombers (Can you please win the next game!) and Winnipeg Jets games with his daughter. He was especially excited when his daughter Tiffany and he made the trip to Vancouver to watch the Men's Canada vs. Switzerland hockey game at the 2010 Winter Olympics. Over the years of working on the pipeline and building trades he made many lifelong friends from coast to coast that he cherished. Those who had the privilege of knowing him, know what a genuine person he is. We would like to thank the Concordia Emergency staff and special thank you to RN Rachelle for all her compassion. An afternoon to remember and celebrate Henli will take place on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn 4000 Portage Avenue. In our hearts your memory will remain and there is not a day that we will not think of you. Love you always. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. My deepest sympathies to June, Jeff, Tiffany and the rest of the Jameson family. I met Henli on my first job when I joined 254 at the U of M in 2004. He took me under his wing and showed me a lot of tips and tricks for welding pipe, always willing to help me. When I needed to get my TIG ticket he told me to come to the union hall at 8 am and he would teach me and for the next 2 weeks he would show me how to TIG weld. He never got frustrated or upset, just kept showing again and again. I will never forget the things you taught me on life and welding. I will continue to spoil my twin girls like you told me too, like you did to Tiffany lol. I will always remember your laugh and the joking around the union hall. R.I.P. brother You are gone... but never forgotten. Till we meet again. - Posted by: Simon Little (Union Brother at 254) on: Sep 27, 2014

Our condolences to June, Tiffany, and Jeffrey and his family. Henli has been a good friend of mine my whole working career and a friend to my family as well. Over the years we would get to the same jobs and have some social time together, always catch up on how our families were doing, the changes the kids were going through. We would pick up like old times. I ran into him last year and reminded him about the old Jets vs Russia game he invited me to accompany him, I said hey I got season tickets I owe you a game. This was on my list for this season to share with my old friend. He was always good to everyone and helpful if he could be. Saying that I don't remember him being mad that often or showing it even after he would tell me in confidence. Henli your ticket is waiting Buddy - Posted by: Gerry & Shirley Taylor and family (Friend of ours some 38 yrs) on: Sep 16, 2014
