GRACE HRYCHANY On September 16, 2014 we lost our friend, wife, daughter, sister and aunt, Grace Anne Hrychany. Grace leaves to mourn her husband and partner of 49 years, Wally, her mother Mary and mother-in-law Emma, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and cousins. Anyone who knew Grace knew of her kindness, her generosity, her big heart, her honesty and her love of her flowers, her garden and nature. Grace was our rock-always in the background quietly getting the job done, always on your side. Grace would always tell you the truth, no matter how hard it was to hear, but would always make it better with a cup of coffee and some kind words. A service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20 at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour. Pallbearers are her nephews and niece, Jeff Bruchanski, Ken Bruchanski, Kelly and Tim Szajewski, Jason Henkel and Paul Profeta. Honorary pallbearers are the members of the Agassiz Garden Club. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Humane Society or a charity of your choice. Grace, we love you, we'll miss you and we'll never forget you. Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • My deepest sympathy on the passing of Grace. Norman and I had very fond memories of her and loved our visits with Grace and Wally in Lac du Bonnet. She will be in my thoughts. - Posted by: Audree Weiss (Friend) on: Sep 21, 2014

  • Deepest sympathy to Wally, who lost his wife; Mary, lost a daughter, Brian & Karen, a sister. Grace was more of a sister than a niece & will be sadly missed. She would bring her mom to visit as often as she could. They usually came to my place & our other 2 sisters would come over, so we could have lunch & have a family gab. We shall all miss that. May she rest in peace where there is no more pain. - Posted by: Hazel Hoplock (Aunt) on: Sep 19, 2014

  • For me, the memory of Gracy and Wally's happy, joyful wedding reception will always be a good memory. Enjoy paradise Gracy! - Posted by: Tom Hanshar (Cousin) on: Sep 18, 2014

  • God looked around his garden And He found an empty place. He then looked down upon this earth, And saw your tired face. He put his arms around you And lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering He knew you were in pain He knew that you would never Get well on earth again. He saw that the road was getting rough. And the hills are hard to climb, So He closed your weary eyelids And whispered "Peace be thine". It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn’t go alone For part of us went with you That day that God called you home - Posted by: Sheri (Sharon Hoplock) Sherman (Cousin) on: Sep 18, 2014
