Marlies, Stefanie and Ruby all came to Luther Home in the same week in the fall of 2009 and were placed in the same 4-bed room. the ladies were seated in the dining room together for many years for all their meals. My mother, Ruby, enjoyed the company of both Marlies and Stefanie (who passed away this past winter). Ironically, Ruby passed away the same day as Marlies. They are probably chuckling and chatting and having their coffee as we speak. I'm sure your family has many happy memories and feels the great loss of your mother, grandmother, great-grandmother...the many things Marlies was to you. My condolences to your families. Hold her close in your thoughts and she will never be far away. - Posted by: Janine Harasymchuk () on: Nov 17, 2014
