Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Sherman was amazing. He lived his life well and has hundreds of Brothers who will miss him. Sherman visited my mom for art lessons occasionally in Gimli which I liken to a Widow's Visit. His Lodge Work was Legendary. I wish he had more time to enjoy his cottage and grandchildren before we went to "his long home". May the entire Elliot family feel God's hand upon them, through this difficult period. Sherman - Until We Meet Again... - Posted by: Michael Hastie (Lodge Brother) on: Sep 23, 2014

  • Karen and family, I am so sorry to read of the loss of Sherman. I remember many a days/evenings when you and Sherman would come by to visit Mom and Dad and have a few "beverages" and laughs. Heaven has received another angel! Sending thoughts and prayers to all of you at this most difficult time. - Posted by: Debbie Northrup (friend - daughter of Graydon and Betty Anderson) on: Sep 22, 2014

  • I was a former student of Sherman's while taking water/wastewater courses a number of years ago. Sherman was one of the best instructors I had in a 16 or 17 year academic career. He was one of the finest human beings I have ever met and had a chance to get to know. You have left us too soon Sherman, the world has lost a stellar human being. My condolences to his loved ones. Fridur se med per (peace be with you). - Posted by: Darrell Kinley (former student) on: Sep 20, 2014
