I can't tell you when I met Peggy..it seemed I knew her most of my life. I'd often tell her I wished she was my Mom and she'd always be there with a kiss on the cheek and a hug. Life taught her to make lemonade..and she always tried to find the funny side of life. We met as dog lovers. She loved her little Patsy and entrusted her care now to her good and best buddy Gail. They'd often have long walks and talks. Talking to my neighbours, Peggy befriended so many people. She always had time for you and always a smile..so I can say family is not always blood, and love bonds are never broken. You got your wings Peggy! You were a tuff old bird with a heart of gold..and I miss you. - Posted by: Cathy McCarron (Neighbour/Friend) on: Sep 29, 2014

We met far too infrequently over our lifetime. Whenever we did, it was a pleasure to see how full of life Peggy was; happy, positive and joyful. Many folks cannot share that state of mind. Rest in peace, I know that you will be rubbing elbows with a few old friends, relatives and many pets. Wish we had had one more phone call. - Posted by: Court & Betty Brooker (Nephew) on: Sep 25, 2014

The staff of MEDIchair Winnipeg pass along our sincere condolences to the family on the loss of a truly great lady. We met only a couple of weeks ago and she was still the proud, independent lady as always. Peggy was never one to complain and was always grateful for the assistance she was provided. She will be missed by all the staff who came in contact with her throughout the years. - Posted by: Gord Savage of MEDIchair (Friend) on: Sep 24, 2014
