Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMYRA VICTORUK (nee COOK) It is with very heavy hearts we announce, on September 20, 2014 at the age of 82, the passing of our most precious gem, our Mom and Grandma. Memories of her will be cherished forever by her children Bill (Mary-Ann), Bob (Anita), Marie Tymchuk (Joe Furdyk), Susan Henderson (Cameron), and her grandchildren Evan, Ryley, Matthew, Laura and Brandon. Heartfelt thanks to our cousins Ron and Shirley Peterson for your continuous friendship and support to Mom over the years. She loved you dearly. Special thanks to Louise Klan for all your support and especially for being with Mom in her last moments. Sincere thanks to PRIME. Mom adored each and every one of you. All of you are a very special group of people. The care, compassion, help, understanding and guidance you provide is the best in your field. Sheena, Allison and Karen we truly don't know what we would have done without you. Dr. Albak for the record, she really did have a crush on you! Thanks to all of the Presley Family for always making her feel she was part of your family, she thought the world of all of you. Thank you to all staff at 3-East Concordia Hospital for making her last days as comfortable as possible. Every day she told us how you were so good to her. She is now enjoying the big party being held in her honour and we are sure she is being serenaded by the one and only "Elvis". A celebration of her life will take place on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main St., Winnipeg, MB. In lieu of flowers, to honour Mom's love for all children, donations may be made in her memory to a Manitoba children's charity of your choice. www.seasonsfunerals.ca

I've known Mrs. V since I was a young girl growing up in E.K. Our group of friends spent many hours hanging out at her house. She was always very sweet to me and I remember teasing her about what Marie was up to, or going to get up to (with us girls of course). She had a wicked sense of humour and I and can still clearly hear her saying MARIE!!! In response to a cheeky comment from her eldest daughter, my crazy friend. Mrs. V you were one of a kind and will be greatly missed! Love Merrill and family. RIP XO - Posted by: Merrill Dinney (Friend of the Family ) on: Sep 25, 2014

I have known Mrs. V since I was 2 months old. She came over to our new house when I was outside crying in my carriage and took me over to her house to "play" with Marie who was 1 month old. Hence my name which was also at the time Marie became Louise, as it would be too confusing to have 2 of us called Marie, as our parents felt we would be friends. And they were correct. Here we are so many years later, having gone through our whole lives together sharing many good times and also many difficult times. The loss of Mrs. V. is so difficult as she was such a truly loving person. I spent much time as a youngster into adulthood with Myra and she always was so caring. I will treasure the last visit I had with her when she was awake, with Marie and Susie. I will forever remember how she sat on her bed looking at us with a big smile on her face. I was with Mrs. V. during her last moments here on earth and she passed so very peacefully which I thank God for. I had prayed that she would not have to experience ongoing suffering and she did not. Thank you for being a part of my life Mrs. V. I will miss you very much. Love, Marie Louise Klan - Posted by: Louise Klan (Neighbor and friend) on: Sep 24, 2014
