Elle laisse pour chérir sa mémoire son époux de 68 ans, Oswald, ses enfants Paulette (Norbert Gamache), Donald (Karen), Lynne et Danièle (Glen), ses petits-enfants Manon, Mylène, Michelle (Jonathan), Nicole, Adrienne, Martine (Warren), Alix (Dwayne), Marcelle (Matt), et ses arrière-petits-enfants Cole, Sophie et Myles. Elle laisse aussi dans le deuil ses soeurs Simone Roy (feu Jean-Baptiste), Dolorès Laurendeau (feu Louis), ses frères Roméo (Jeane), Denis (Jeannine), sa belle-soeur Adrienne Beauchemin (feu Lionel), son beau-frère Bernard Carrière (Jeannine), sa belle-soeur Thérèse Carrière (feu Lionel) et plusieurs neveux et nièces. Elle fut précédée dans la mort par son frère Lionel ainsi que plusieurs beaux-frères et belles-soeurs. Born to Joseph Beauchemin and Béatrice Jeannotte on October 13, 1923, Lucile was raised in Ile-des-Chênes. In 1946, she and Oswald were married and began their life together in St. Pierre-Jolys. Lucile had many talents, interests and passions, her greatest one being her family. Warm and giving, she lived life positively, elegantly, inspiring us all with her strength, resilience and boundless optimism that continues to permeate our lives still. The family would like to express sincere appreciation to the staff of River Park Gardens for the compassionate care extended to our mother. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Cathedral, 190 avenue de la Cathédrale with l'abbé Marcel Carrière officiating. Private interment will take place at a later date at St. Pierre-Jolys Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice. So sorry to hear about the passing of your dear wife, mother and grandmother. Lucile was a precious person to be with, always positive and full of fun. Our memories of the two trips we did with Oswald and Lucile are some of the best memories we have of them. Her continuous devotion to the St. Pierre Agricultural Society was very much appreciated by all of St. Pierre. Our thoughts and our prayers are with you, Oswald and family, in these very hard times. You can be assured that the good memories you have of your dear wife and Mother will be with you until the end of your own life cycle. May she rest in peace!
