I was thinking of you and yours and upon a search today came upon this. So sorry for your loss. She loved you so fiercely and deeply. You are a lucky man to have had a mum like this. Wonderful that your daughters had a grandmother like her. I was so glad to meet her when you invited me up for a visit after all the wonderful stories about her you'd regaled me with. I admired her. - Posted by: L Egan nee L Jackson (Chris's friend) on: Jan 13, 2015

Dear Chris, Sorry to hear of your Mum's passing. I have very fond memories of the time Jennifer and I spent in the little house we rented from her, up the road from the store. We always appreciated her kindness. One of the special memories is when she invited us to the house for tea one Christmas. - Posted by: Anne Mackay (Fellow Grand Rapidian) on: Sep 30, 2014

Margaret was a quiet, shy, kind and respectable neighbor who liked to share her pictures and perspectives of her travels. She enjoyed watching movies and showing her collection of art to my Mom. She was a great client! - Posted by: Ali & Elaine Ungarian (Former neighbour & Hairdresser) on: Sep 25, 2014

On behalf of the Cosens Family, Chris, we extend our sincere sympathy. I recall the many stories of your Mother and how diligently she worked in the store....as told to me by Brant. She told Brant that she could always get a break in mid afternoon when all the "soaps" were on TV ! A sense of humour! Chris, may you be blessed with great memories of her, and hope that your daughters had some good times with her, too. With sincere thoughts of you, and blessings, Marie Cosens Craig - Posted by: Marie Cosens Craig (Friend of Chris, son of Margaret Olafson) on: Sep 25, 2014
