Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKARL LAYHER May 24, 1928 September 24, 2014 Karl Layher passed into his heavenly Father's arms on the morning of September 24, 2014, with his wife of 63 years, Lisa and his daughter Heidi (Rennie) by his side. Karl also leaves behind his daughter Inge (Gunther) Pflaum of Germany, and son-in-law Paul Daub of Germany, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Jacob (Gertrude) and Bert, and his sisters Victoria, Pauline (Richard) and Maria (Arthur). He was predeceased by his daughter Elli in February 2013, sister-in-law Anita, and brother-in-law Waldemar. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 30, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Nutimik Baptist Camp, Elli Daub Memorial Fund.
