Ralph was an amazing and caring person. We curled against each other and sat on the board of the St. Norbert Curling club for many years. He spent countless hours making sure that the league ran smoothly and that everyone had a great experience. He didn't just care about you as a curler, he made sure that he got to know you as a person. We shared stories about our families and we had a common bond of farming. Ralph's roots were planted firmly in the soil! He was a fierce opponent on the curling ice and could throw the "hard" shot along with the best of them, we just needed to keep out of the way of the rock! I will miss him. - Posted by: Bev Schick (Friend) on: Sep 28, 2014

IN LOVING MEMORY OF UNCLE RALPH Thinking of you with love, comforted now by our precious memories of the good times shared with you. God's garden is going to be extra perfect because you will be tending to it. When we see a beautiful garden, hear a great one liner joke, someone sitting in a chair by a window keeping an eye on things ...it will remind us of you and we will smile and give thanks for the blessing of you in our lives. We love you and will miss you always Uncle Ralph. No goodbyes--- Till we meet again. Save a place for us at your picnic table in the garden. I thank my God in all my remembrance of you. -Philippians 1:3 Love Denis, Paula & Family. - Posted by: Paula Meyer (Niece) on: Sep 27, 2014

Ralph - an amazing and kind neighbour and friend. I will always remember coming over to play with Kristy and finding his tomato juice stash. I'll also always remember the toboggan runs he built in his back yard and the "special pumpkins" he'd save for us that were always the biggest and most beautiful. I will miss the fresh veggies he would grow and sell from the little wagon out front. I won't ever forget jokingly telling him to "go home Ralph! We'll shovel the driveway!" But secretly always being grateful that we didn't have to do the whole thing. Most of all though, I will miss his smile, his kindness and seeing him wave at me almost every single day since I started working three years ago. Ralph, you were the best and you will be greatly missed! I love you! - Posted by: Natalie (Neighbour) on: Sep 27, 2014
