Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN SCHAMP (BEGYN) (nee VANDENDORPE) Peacefully, in her sleep, on Wednesday, June 7,1995, our mother passed away at Tuxedo Villa at the age of 85. She was predeceased by her parents; two sons, Emil and Andrew; sister Madeline; and brother Andrew. She leaves to mourn her passing three sons, Marcel Begyn (Louise), Jerry Schamp (Olive), Maurice Schamp (Jeanette); four daughters, Alice Solesbury (Fred), Lillian Mustard (Ken), Linda Kostiuk (Ron), Lorraine Krowetz (Dave); 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister Mary Dousseleare; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jean was born April 4, 1910 in Swan Lake, Man. and lived in Winnipeg for the past 30 years. Her greatest joy was getting together with all her children and playing cards. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. In tears we saw you sinking We watched you fade away You suffered much in silence You fought so hard to stay You faced your task with courage Your spirit did not bend But still you kept on fighting Until the very end God saw you getting tired So He put his arms around you And whispered "Come With Me". So when we saw you sleeping So peaceful free from pain We could not wish you back To suffer that again Our family chain is broken And nothing seems the same As God calls us one by one Our chain will link again. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with Rev. Fr. Gerald Craig officiating. In lieu of flowers, friends may make donations to the Manitoba Heart & Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, R3B 2H8. Thanks Mom for all your years of love and understanding. The family wish to thank the caring staff at Station 3, Tuxedo Villa. Chapel Lawn Funeral Home in care of arrangements, phone 885-9715. CHAPEL IN THE PARK Published June 8, 1995
