ROSE BOYD It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Rose Boyd on September 30, 2014. Rose was born in Allegra, MB on September 9, 1938. Rose was predeceased by her parents Dan and Carole Guszowaty and husband Arnold Boyd. Left to cherish her memory is daughter Barb Sheldon (Kevin), stepdaughter Cindy Kinley (Neil), stepson Tom Boyd (Cathy), sisters and brothers Julie Jonuk (Bob), Michael Guszowaty (Irene), Linda Smith (Russell), Jim Guszowaty (Gina), grandchildren Reed, Kendra and Colin Kinley and her many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Rose was proud to grow up in Transcona along with her brothers and sisters. She worked for Manitoba Hydro for many years where she met Arnie. She left Hydro when Arnie retired, but returned to the workforce and worked for several years at the Hudson Bay Co. downtown. Rose will be remembered by her huge smile and hugs, being a great listener, always giving the best advice and her love of making crafts. The family would like to thank the entire medical team at St. Boniface Hospital for their excellent kindness and compassionate care. As per Rose's wishes a private interment will take place. In lieu of flowers, family and friends may make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. www.chapellawn.ca 885-9715

I hear Rose's laugh in my head when I close my eyes, I cannot believe she's not with us anymore. I will miss Rose till I die, we had so many wonderful conversations. I regret I wasn't able to see her, I was so hoping to next year. Was not to be. You were her life Barb, she loved you so much & I'm sure you loved her back as much. Forever in my thoughts. Rest in peace dear friend. From Arlene DeJong Wisconsin USA - Posted by: Arlene DeJong (Long time friend) on: Oct 06, 2014

As life with a sister goes you do not always share the same thoughts or feelings and we quite often agreed to disagree but Rose you were an awesome sister, the best and I do now and will continue to miss you terribly. Hope you are having a blast with Arne, Mom and Dad. - Posted by: Linda Smith (Sister) on: Oct 05, 2014
