I met Josie at Holy Family Home where she was a fellow resident with my husband Maurice. Her caring, kindness and friendly manner made him feel welcome from the first days he arrived. She was a very special friend to him. - Posted by: Lucille Rybuck (friend) on: Oct 07, 2014

Deepest sympathy to fellow family and friends who knew and loved Auntie Josie. You were a very special Godmother who always was there with a big smile and warm embrace. Family was so important to you, and I was proud to be part of many who were lucky to call you Godmother. Many fond memories at family gatherings, special events, and spending time with you in Winnipeg. May you have eternal peace and enjoy being reunited with Uncle Freddie. - Posted by: Curtis Boyechko (Godchild, Great Nephew) on: Oct 04, 2014

Will always be remembered and loved as "Aunt Josie". An Aunt who loved to entertain, visit family, dance, golf and be envolved in church activities. Although she did not have any children of her own, Aunt Josie was a "Godmother" to many, including my wife Jeanette and son Curtis. "Thank you" for everthing you and Uncle Fred have done to enrich our life. In our hearts you will always be loved and cherished.
