HELEN HIEBERT On Thursday, October 2, 2014, Helen Hiebert went to be with the Lord at the age of 64. Helen will be missed by her 11 siblings and their spouses along with 20 nephews and nieces. Helen was predeceased by her mother Maria in 2007, her father Peter in 2010 and brother-in-law Jake Sawatzky in 2011. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Springfield Heights Mennonite Church, 570 Sharon Bay in Winnipeg. The family would like to thank the staff at Parkview Place in Winnipeg for the great care they provided to our sister. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Helen may be made to Canadian National Institute For The Blind (CNIB), 1080 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3G 3M3. Helen, it's hard to believe you're gone. I wish you didn't have to go. I never got to say good bye. I'm glad that I know you're with our God and that you're free now. I have fond memories of our time spent at Penner Foods, where we first met and spent time sharing about the Lord together. You will always have a special place in my heart.
